AWS EC2 Deployment Specialist Needed

Project Description
We’re looking for an experienced AWS freelancer to help us set up secure hosting on AWS EC2 and deploy our existing web application. The app is already built — we just need help configuring the server, applying best practices, and getting it live.

What We Need Help With
1. EC2 Server Setup

Launch and configure EC2 instance
Configure firewall (security groups)
Set up SSH access and user roles

2. App Deployment

Deploy our web application (we will provide code/files)
Set correct folder structure and permissions
Configure environment variables
Test deployment to confirm everything works

3. SSL Setup

Set up a free SSL certificate (Let’s Encrypt / Certbot)
Force HTTPS and secure headers

4. Database Setup

Install and configure database Amazon RDS
Secure the DB (no public access)
Enable automatic backups

5. S3 & Backup Management

Create an S3 bucket for backups
Automate backups for database
Set auto-delete/lifecycle for old backups to manage storage costs

6. IAM & Permissions

Set up IAM roles/users with least-privilege access
Secure permissions for EC2, S3, and other services

7. Monitoring & Alerts

Set up basic CloudWatch monitoring for CPU/memory
Enable basic email alerts if needed

8. Documentation

Provide simple, basic documentation covering:
Server setup and architecture
Deployment process
How to restore backups
IAM/user management steps

Requirements :
Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)
Experience deploying web apps on Linux servers
Clear communication and step-by-step guidance
Ability to deliver clean and cost-effective setup
