AWS Database EC2 analysis and report needed

Hello! I have inherited an AWS EC2 instance, and I need someone to help access the terminal on the server, retrieve the MySQL database, tell me how I can access the database, and help to restart the backend (Laravel) if needed. I am not an expert on AWS, but we need to restart the server and make sure the database is working and see what is in the database. We have all of the frontend and backend code.
