AWS CDK Typescript Development Expert
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
Looking for an experienced AWS CDK professional who is able to work in a small team of 2-3 people to deliver a website. Work can expand more if the professional is a talented and reliable worker.
In terms of skills, we require first and foremost someone with expert knowledge of AWS CDK (Typescript) and who's able to build CloudFormation templates, and someone who is able to resolve issues individually. Additionally preferred candidates would also have Solution Architecture skills and knowledge of AWS services. They should be able to offer some consultation and have discussions about the architecture and pros and cons of making an architectural decision.
Primarily looking for a problem solver and a self-starter who is able to defend design decisions they take. I'm a tech professional myself and plan to work with the selected professional to develop the application, so you should be willing to have discussions regularly and work together on the same code repository.
Required skills:
- AWS Cloud Architect or similar
- AWS CDK knowledge
- Able to code in Typescript and write unit-tested code
- Git, bash, intermediate to advanced shell scripting
- Able to do code reviews and accept feedback at the same time on their code
- Debugging the code
- Github or similar projects to demonstrate skills
- Creative. Ability to offer feedback and suggestions
Preferred:
- Prior experience with agile is preferred. I plan to have scrum meetings biweekly and follow certain scrum practices, with the ability to meet in person if we're in the same city
- React experience, is able to help with the UI/UX
- Exposure to Data Science/AI/Generative AI projects (and AWS services) is helpful
- CI/CD pipelines
- Python (not a necessary skill to have, but some knowledge is preferred)
