AWS API Gateway and Lambda Integration Setup Expert Needed for Initial Project Setup

Job Description:
I am seeking an experienced AWS developer to assist with setting up an API Gateway, Lambda function integration, and deployment for an orchestration platform. This will be the initial step before we begin connecting and managing APIs on the platform. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the foundational infrastructure is set up correctly. Once the setup is complete, I will take over the API connection process myself.
Key Responsibilities:
API Gateway Setup:
Create and configure an API Gateway to handle incoming requests.
Define and configure routes for the API to handle requests for the platform.
Ensure that the API Gateway is set up to handle HTTP methods (GET, POST, etc.).
Lambda Function Configuration:
Create a Lambda function that will be used to process requests from the API Gateway.
Ensure Lambda function has appropriate permissions to integrate with the API Gateway.
Configure the Lambda function for appropriate payload processing.
Stage Creation and Deployment:
Create and deploy API stages (dev, production, etc.).
Enable automatic deployment for each stage to ensure smooth updates.
Verify the deployment is successful and the API Gateway is functional.
Integrating Lambda with API Gateway:
Integrate the Lambda function with the API Gateway to ensure proper communication.
Ensure the Lambda function is executed correctly when an API request is made.
Test the integration and confirm the setup works end-to-end.
Troubleshooting & Validation:
Test the entire setup (API Gateway + Lambda function) and resolve any integration or permission issues.
Provide documentation for the setup, including how to update or scale the system.
Skills Required:
Proven experience with AWS API Gateway setup and management.
Strong understanding of AWS Lambda functions and their integration with API Gateway.
Experience with IAM roles, permissions, and Lambda function configurations.
Knowledge of AWS deployment processes and auto-deployment configurations.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve API integration issues efficiently.
Project Deliverables:
