Project Brief: Canva Templates & A+ Content for the Launch of Gabo World Children’s Books
I’m expanding the Gabo World children’s book universe and need a creative partner who can help bring visual consistency, fun, and professionalism to my marketing assets. This project focuses on creating (and refining) Canva templates across several series within the collection.
Scope of Work
You’ll support the launch of 5 book series within Gabo World by creating branded, easy-to-adapt Canva templates. Three series already have initial templates—these will only need a light review for consistency. The remaining two series require full template creation.
Deliverables
1. Canva Cover Templates (5 Series)
• Review and refine 3 existing cover template sets for full visual consistency (layout, typography, brand colors, character style).
• Create 2 new cover template sets from scratch.
• Each set must include versions for:
- Paperback (softcover)
- Hardcover
• Templates must support our two interior formats:
- 8.5×11
- 6×9
• All covers must align with the established Gabo World illustration and branding style.
2. Canva Templates for Pinterest Posts (15 Templates Per Series)
• Create 15 Pinterest-optimized static post templates for each of the 5 series. Total: 75 templates.
• Format: 1000 × 1500 px
• Must be visually engaging, conversion-oriented, and crafted to appeal to parents, especially busy moms looking for fun, educational content.
3. Canva Templates for Amazon A+ Content (3 Universal Templates)
• Create 3 reusable A+ Content templates suitable for any book in the collection.
• You will create these templates from scratch.
• I do not provide existing A+ layouts, but I will provide:
- Text/content to be included
- Images and page samples from the books to inspire the visual direction
• Templates must follow Amazon’s A+ guidelines and highlight:
- Educational benefits
- Gabo’s charm and personality
- Collection identity
• All designs should be clean, bright, and highly readable for Amazon product pages.
What You’ll Receive From Me
• Brand style guide (colors, fonts, illustration rules)
• Approved cover references
• Content and example images from the books to build the A+ templates
• Access to the shared Canva Pro workspace
What I Need From You
• A cohesive, scalable template system for covers, Pinterest posts, and A+ content. There might be more projects coming for other platforms.
• Creative vision that keeps everything fun, fresh, and aligned with the brand; aided by AI but with a clear quality human touch.
• Attention to detail to ensure paperback & hardcover formats work perfectly in both 8.5×11 and 6×9.
Acceptance Criteria
• All deliverables must be fully editable Canva templates, neatly structured and easy to duplicate.
• Templates must reflect Gabo World’s established colors, typography, and illustration style.
• Cover templates must include:
- Paperback version
- Hardcover version
• Pinterest templates must be visually striking and optimized for engagement.
• A+ templates must follow Amazon formatting and clearly present book benefits.
• All assets delivered on time into the team’s Canva workspace.
