Book Formatting & eBook Conversion
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
Two parts: (1) Correct and finalize the layout in MS Word of a 180 page technical book for print, (2) convert to e-book for Amazon.
Although I self-formatted and published the 1st edition 3 years ago with only outside help for the cover, my command of MSWord is limited. The revised book is largely formatted, but the “sections” (page numbering and page headers) got out of alignment, and the “anchors” are complicating the placement of some of the figures in the text and page breaks. I can use the same cover although I should squeeze in “2nd edition.”
As for the e-book version, I expect the challenge will be incorporating the roughly 3 dozen figures in the “flow” of text, and converting some pointers, e.g. “see Figure xx on page xx” to live links.
Good communication is more important than turnaround time.
