E-Commerce Account Manager (Amazon & Shopify) — Contract-to-Hire
Budget: $150 – $300 USD
E-Commerce Account Manager (Amazon & Shopify) — Contract-to-Hire
We’re a growing Botanicals & Tea company looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy E-Commerce Account Manager to help us build and grow our online storefronts. This role starts with a clear setup phase (Shopify + Amazon) and transitions into ongoing e-commerce management. We want someone with full-stack e-commerce experience who can set a solid foundation and then continue to manage and optimize operations as we expand.
Initial Scope (Setup Phase):
Shopify store setup: theme selection, UI/UX layout, modern design, core pages (Home, Product, About, FAQ, Contact, Policies), payments/shipping, and integrations.
Amazon setup: store readiness, FBA configuration, one flagship product listing (keyword research & optimization, stock images/descriptions).
Analytics & integrations: ensure tools like Klaviyo, GA4, and tracking integrations are properly implemented.
Ongoing Scope (E-Commerce Management):
Manage and optimize Amazon Seller Central (FBA, listings, SEO, inventory tracking, pricing strategies).
Manage and optimize Shopify store (listings, SEO, website updates, promotions).
Conduct product and competitor research to help inform strategy.
Monitor and manage inventory flow across platforms.
Run light Amazon PPC campaigns, monitor performance, and optimize.
Analyze performance with tools like Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Jungle Scout, and Helium 10.
Ensure accuracy and consistency across all product listings.
Provide regular reporting and progress updates.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience with Amazon Seller Central (FBA, SEO, PPC, optimization) — required.
Proven experience with Shopify store management — required.
Hands-on use of Jungle Scout and Helium 10 — required.
Strong skills in inventory management, numbers, and analytics.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and SEO/marketing tools.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to troubleshoot issues quickly.
Tech-savvy with a problem-solving mindset.
What we offer:
-Phase 1 (Setup): Fixed-scope project for Shopify + Amazon setup.
-Phase 2 (Ongoing): Contract role for initial 3 months of e-commerce management (listing upkeep, reporting, optimization, light PPC), with pay on a biweekly schedule.
-Future: Opportunity for full-time conversion as we expand into new SKUs (additional teas, K-Cups, aromatherapy). Rates and scope will be revisited as product count and responsibilities grow.
-Flexible schedule — align on priorities, then deliver results.
-A transparent, relationship-driven working style — we value balance and trust, not micromanagement.
About Us & Compensation
We’re a small startup (2-person team) building Respira Botanicals from the ground up. As a new business, our initial budget is limited — but there is room for rapid compensation growth as sales ramp up. For now, we’ll start with a fair base arrangement, but if the business performs well sooner, we will gladly increase rates and reward strong performance. We value transparency, hard work, and long-term relationships, and if you help us optimize and grow our e-commerce, you will be rightly compensated.
Interested? Send us your proposal with:
-Examples of Amazon/Shopify stores you’ve managed.
-A breakdown of what you’d include in the initial setup.
-Your availability
-Your proposed cost for the setup phase and for monthly management.
