Freelance CTO Needed to Enhance Software Architecture

I'm in need of a seasoned Freelance CTO with a strategic mindset to join our team. The primary objective of this role will be to improve our existing technology infrastructure, with a particular focus on enhancing the scalability of our software architecture.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing our current codebase, recommending improvements, guiding our technical team, and ensuring the successful completion of our project. You will play a crucial role in shaping our technical direction, working closely with our leadership, developers, and ensuring that our technology aligns with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Review: Assess the current codebase and technology stack, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Strategic Guidance: Provide expert advice on the best practices, tools, and technologies to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and efficient.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide our developers, ensuring they are following best practices and meeting project milestones.
Project Management: Oversee the technical aspects of the project, ensuring that timelines are met, and quality standards are maintained.
Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to align the technology strategy with business objectives.
Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained for all technical processes and decisions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CTO, Technical Lead, or in a similar leadership role, preferably within a startup or tech-focused company.
Strong expertise in Laravel, AWS Rekognition, MySQL, OAuth, and Firebase.
Experience with WordPress integration and API development.
Solid understanding of GDPR compliance and data security best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in mentoring and guiding development teams to success.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and AWS deployment services (Elastic Beanstalk, ECS) is a plus.
