Wearable Sensor Board Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer from Europe or the USA with expertise in wearable devices and IoT systems to help design and develop a wearable sensor board. The project involves PCB design, schematic development, and firmware programming for ECG sensors, Li-ion battery charging, USB communication, and an ESP32 MCU.
Key Responsibilities:
-PCB Design: Develop high-quality PCB layouts for a wearable sensor board, including ECG connectors, USB-to-UART interfaces, and battery charging circuits.
-Schematic Development: Create and review schematics for the BG77 LTE module, ESP32, Li-ion charging, and sensor interfaces.
-Firmware Programming: Implement and optimize firmware for the ESP32 MCU, including Wi-Fi/BLE communication, sensor data acquisition, and USB communication.
-Signal Integrity: Ensure proper routing for USB differential pairs, level translators, and signal filtering for analog components.
-Battery Management: Design a battery charging and power management system for Li-ion batteries.
-Testing and Validation: Provide validation reports on sensor accuracy, USB communication, and overall system performance.
Required Skills and Expertise:
-Proven experience with PCB design tools (e.g., KiCad, Altium Designer).
-Strong knowledge of wearable device sensors (ECG, PPG, etc.).
-Familiarity with ESP32 (or similar MCUs) for IoT applications and Wi-Fi/BLE communication.
-Experience in USB communication and UART interfacing.
-Familiarity with Li-ion battery charging circuits and power management.
-Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
-European or American freelancers preferred for time zone alignment and ease of communication.
Deliverables:
-Complete schematic diagrams and PCB layout files.
-Firmware for the ESP32 to interface with sensors and communicate via USB and Bluetooth.
