120 V DC Power Supply Design

I am putting together a 120 V DC source for a high-current, high-power three-phase AC motor installation and need a rock-solid schematic that I can hand straight to my technicians for build-out.
The design has to meet three key objectives in one compact drawing: deliver stable 120 V DC under heavy load, cope gracefully with the inrush and sustained current demanded by the motor, and integrate full protection against over-current, over-voltage, and thermal runaway.

Because the application is industrial scale, I expect component choices rated to handle continuous high amperage, not just momentary peaks. Feel free to suggest whether a discrete rectifier stage, a switched-mode topology, or a hybrid arrangement makes most sense—so long as the final output stays clean and well-regulated at 120 V DC.

Please include the following in the submission:
• Complete circuit diagram in PDF or an editable CAD format (KiCad, Altium, or LTspice are all acceptable).
• Bill of materials with part numbers, voltage/current ratings, and brief sourcing notes.
• Short design note explaining how the protection features are implemented and how to scale them if I later uprate the motor.
• Test points you recommend for commissioning and troubleshooting.

I’ll review the schematic against the protection brief first, then move to layout once everything checks out, so clarity and correct annotation matter more to me than artwork polish at this stage.
