PCB Layout Space Optimization
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have the full Gerber set for an existing board and I’m ready for a version-up focused purely on rearranging components. No new parts are being added and none are coming off; the goal is a cleaner, tighter placement that still honours every current net, footprint and keep-out.
You’ll start from the files I provide, import them into the CAD package of your choice (Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD—whatever you’re fastest with) and shuffle the layout until the overall footprint shrinks or, at the very least, unused zones disappear. Throughout the process please respect all manufacturer rules, keep clear signal integrity paths intact and run a final DRC before handing anything back.
Deliverables
• Updated board file in the native CAD format you used
• Regenerated Gerber, drill and pick-and-place files ready for fabrication
• Quick change log highlighting what moved and why
If you foresee any show-stoppers—trace widths that can’t physically compress further, for instance—flag them early so we can decide whether to relax constraints or keep the board size.
