Mobile Phone PCB Partner
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I’m setting up a new mobile-phone venture and I want a seasoned PCB designer to join me at the ground floor. I will fund the hardware development; what I need from you is the end-to-end PCB engineering that turns our handset concept into a manufacturable reality.
Scope of work
• Architect and lay out a multilayer board that fits a slim smartphone form factor.
• Integrate the core silicon (application processor, memory, RF front-end), battery interface and power-management circuitry, plus all critical sensor breakouts.
• Optimise signal integrity, thermal behaviour and EMI/EMC so the design can clear FCC/CE without major rework.
• Produce complete deliverables—schematics, layered Gerber/ODB++ files, annotated BOM, pick-and-place data and a brief DFM report for the fab house.
• Iterate through at least one prototype spin and provide guidance during bring-up and validation.
Tools & expertise
Altium Designer or KiCad proficiency, proven high-density interconnect experience, familiarity with common smartphone chipsets and RF layout best practices.
Engagement
I’m open to structuring this as a paid contract with milestone releases or an equity-plus-cash arrangement if you’d like to become a longer-term technical co-founder. Let’s talk about what combination motivates you most.
