Manual AWR to Altium Export
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have a fully-routed PCB inside the Microwave Office AWR Design Environment (20-component BOM, no further edits required) and I need the whole project transferred into Altium Designer. For this first run, I want the conversion done manually so I can check every footprint, net, and constraint inside Altium before we automate anything.
What I expect from you:
• An Altium Designer project that opens without errors, with all schematic symbols, footprints, design rules, and layer stacks faithfully reproduced from the original AWR file.
• Detailed documentation that explains each step you took—import settings, library handling, any re-mapping decisions, and how you verified connectivity—so I can replicate or audit the procedure later.
Once I approve the converted board, I’ll commission a follow-up milestone where you formalise the process into a repeatable workflow (script, checklist, or tutorial). For now, the deliverables above will let me review quality and completeness. If you’re comfortable inside both AWR and Altium and have done similar migrations, I’d love to see your approach.
