High-Speed PCB Design (Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ SoC)

Job ID: 39909025

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Summary
Project Overview
Developing a custom high-speed board based on the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ SoC (XCZU19EG), integrating QSFP+, FMC+, Ethernet, USB, and DDR4 (SODIMM) interfaces. We’re seeking an experienced hardware engineer to support schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.

The Ideal Candidate shall have the following skills:
- Experience with Altium Designer (schematic capture, PCB layout, and rule setup).
- Strong understanding of AMD/Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ SoCs (e.g., XCZU19EG).
- Experience designing high-speed digital boards.
- Knowledge of QSFP+/SFP+, Ethernet, USB 3.0, and FMC+ interfaces.
- DDR4 / SODIMM routing experience (length matching, topology, termination).
- Familiarity with switching regulator and LDO power supply circuit design.
- Understanding of signal and power integrity fundamentals.
- Ability to define and apply PCB design rules and constraints.
- Skill in stack-up design for impedance-controlled routing.
- Knowledge of controlled impedance and differential pair routing principles.
- Familiarity with high-speed PCB materials (e.g., Megtron, Isola).
- Experience generating BOM, Gerber, and fabrication files.
- Understanding of power distribution network (PDN) design and decoupling strategy.
- Ability to perform design reviews and follow industry standards (IPC).
- Good communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.

Deliverables
Deliverables:
Complete schematics and layout in Altium Designer.
