Create PCBA Documentation in Altium
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have an Altium Designer project that is fully routed and already in production, yet the supporting files are a mess. What I need now is a clean, professional documentation package generated directly from the existing Altium files.
Scope of work
• Re-organise the current project (Altium Designer) so that outputs can be generated reliably.
• Produce assembly drawings that follow my company-specific template. These drawings must include:
– Component placement with clear reference designators
– Full top- and bottom-layer views
– All relevant mechanical drawings (board outline, mounting holes, keep-out zones)
Deliverables
1. Updated Altium project folder with tidy layer stack, named variants (if any) and annotation locked.
2. PDF set of the assembly drawings described above.
3. Fabrication pack: Gerbers (RS-274X), ODB++ or IPC-2581, drill files, pick-and-place CSV, and an updated fabrication README so the board house can build from a single zip.
Acceptance
• All PDFs match the company template I will supply.
• Layer names, file names and mechanical dimensions must match the current hardware; I will verify by printing the PDFs at 1:1 scale against an existing board.
• The fabrication archive must import into JLCPCB’s viewer without errors.
