Altium Schematic to PCB Layout
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I already have a complete, multi-sheet schematic in Altium Designer and now need it translated into a clean, production-ready PCB layout for a consumer-electronics product that pushes more than 10 A at up to 24 V on several rails. Because of those high-current paths, proper thermal management is critical—wide copper pours, solid ground returns, and clear heat-spreading strategies are all essential.
Here’s what I expect:
• You take the existing Altium project and create the full board layout, including component placement, routing, plane definition, and keep-out / keep-in regions.
• Thermal considerations are addressed from the start (vias under power devices, adequate copper weight, optional heat-sink footprints, and realistic temperature-rise estimates).
• Output files ready for fabrication: Gerbers, drill data, pick-and-place, and the updated Altium project file.
• A brief design-for-manufacture note outlining layer stack-up, minimum trace/space, and any special fabrication notes tied to the thermal design.
I will supply the schematic source files and any component datasheets you might need. All work must stay inside Altium Designer so the hand-off is seamless for future iterations. If you’ve handled high-current consumer boards before and can prove it through tidy, thermally aware layouts, I’d love to see your approach and estimated timeline.
