Altium PCB Template & Updates
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have the mechanical outline captured in a DXF file; what I need now is a matching PCB-layout template inside Altium so I can reuse it across future designs. Once the template is ready, I’ll hand over two existing Altium projects. Your job is to drop each board onto the new template and enlarge the four mounting holes (current drill size will be in the files; target size we can confirm together before routing).
Key points you will handle
• Import DXF, create the board shape, keep all layer names, stack-up and grid settings tidy so the file shows up as a clean “PCB layout template” in Altium.
• For the two boards, migrate them to the new template and update the mounting holes only—no component relocation or net changes expected.
• Return: the .PcbDoc template, plus the two revised board files that compile in Altium without design-rule errors.
I’m on Altium 23, so please work in that version or save back in a fully compatible format. If you’ve done board-shape creation from DXF and quick mechanical edits before, this should be a straightforward gig.
