AMR SoC PCB Gerber Design
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I’m developing a compact consumer-electronics board built around an ARM Cortex-M device and now need the full PCB layout ready for manufacture. The schematic is largely settled; what I need from you is a clean, production-grade board design that meets EMC best practices and leaves enough headroom for future revisions.
Key functional blocks that must be routed:
• Wi-Fi module
• Bluetooth module
• Power-management unit with battery-charging capability
• High-speed USB interface
• Space for a small “other” expansion header I’ll define during the layout review
You are free to work in Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, or another professional tool as long as the output can be supplied in standard Gerber, drill, and assembly files.
Deliverables:
1. Optimised board layout (source file)
2. Fabrication package: Gerbers, ODB++, drill, paste, pick-and-place
3. Updated BOM with manufacturer part numbers and alternates
4. Simple design-for-assembly notes (stack-up, impedance targets, critical-length traces)
5. One round of post-fabrication support to address any board-house questions
Acceptance criteria will be the ability to pass a basic design-rule check from JLCPCB and a manual review of differential pair lengths for USB and the wireless modules. I’ll handle firmware and bring-up; you just make sure the copper is perfect.
