Vectric to AlphaCam Post Processor Conversion
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a 3-axis post processor from Vectric that is used for my my CNC. My workflow is moving to AlphaCam 2021, so I need that post logic translated into an AlphaCam post
You’ll start with the existing Vectric post file and map every motion, tool-change, header, footer and macro call so AlphaCam 2021 produces identical machine behaviour. My router expects clean, vanilla G-code, so no proprietary commands should slip in.
Deliverable: an AlphaCam 2021 post file (and any supporting macros) ready to drop into the Posts folder, plus a short text note explaining where to copy it and which output options to tick for 3-axis routing. I’ll verify by running a known Vectric job through AlphaCam and checking the resulting .nc line-for-line on the control; I’m happy once the files are functionally identical.
If you have already produced custom AlphaCam posts for routers, this should be a straightforward conversion. Let’s get this set up so I can retire the old software.
