1. Background information and research question(s):

I am interested in seeing if a technology intervention had more or less of an effect on female 2nd-grade students' math test scores over male 2nd-grade students' math test scores after the intervention was implemented.

I have two questions. 1.) Does the use of a technology intervention prior to taking a math test have an effect on 2nd-grade students' math test scores? 2.) Does the use of a technology intervention prior to taking a math test have a greater effect on female 2nd-grade students' math test scores than it does on male 2nd-grade students' math test scores? What is the best statistical method for measuring the results and why?
