Write an algorithm to find the inclination of a contrained component (on a circular path)

I need a freelancer to collect some data and write an algorithm to find the inclination of a bicycle pedal with some IMU data (possibly less than 3axis gyroscope and 3 axis accelerometer) collected positioning the IMU on the spindle of the pedal.
