My project seeks to develop a neural network that will be able to classify OCT images of the retinal region according to pre-assigned categories. For this purpose, I have five pre-trained models in mind and will apply a gaussian filter and feature extraction to the images prior to classification. This neural network will serve an important purpose - providing more reliable results for retinal diagnoses. It will be able to accurately identify retinal conditions based on OCT images, and it will be trained on diverse samples. Furthermore, it will use distinctive algorithms and sophisticated processing techniques. In terms of the scope and complexity of this project, it is one of a kind. We expect it to have perform better and quicker than existing OCT-based diagnoses, and I am excited to see its finished product.
