Write a Monte Carlo simulation of the virtual memory replacement algorithms (LRU, FIFO, and Clock). Iteratively generate one-thousand page number traces (experiments). Each memory trace generated must contain one-thousand page numbers separated into ten regions where each region has a base page number equal to ten times its region number then adjust the trace using a normal, random number distribution with a mean of ten and a standard deviation of two. Test each algorithm for working set sizes from four to twenty. Compute the average (over the one-thousand experiments) number of page faults for each algorithm for each working set size and plot these results in a manner similar to Figure 8.16 using an external program such as Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice Calc.
