Determine CRC/Hash algorithm from sample binary file

I have a 1MB binary file that has a checksum in it. Checksum must be in the last 6 bytes. You must analyze the binary file and correctly identify the checksum algorithm used. It may be a single checksum such as CRC16 with some polynomial or a different algorithm. Must be able to work immediately, more work for quick and accurate results.
