I’m seeking a patient tutor who can guide a secondary-school student through the algebra problems that come home each week. The learner is a motivated teenager but currently finds variables, equations and basic factorisation overwhelming. I’d like each session to focus on the exact homework set, breaking questions into clear, logical steps while explaining the underlying concepts so future tasks feel less intimidating.

We’ll meet online; I’m comfortable with Zoom or any interactive whiteboard tool you prefer. Consistency matters, so a regular weekly slot—plus quick chat support for the odd tricky question between sessions—would be ideal.
