Enhance Industrial Color Mixer SCADA -- 2

Job ID: 40379857

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I already have a fully functioning Siemens S7 / TIA Portal project that drives an industrial colour-mixing line, with WinCC handling the on-site visualisation and Factory IO used for simulation. The core control logic and HMI screens are finished; what I now need is an experienced WinCC engineer who can extend the system with three concrete additions: rich reporting & analytics, a structured alarm-management layer, and secure remote-control capability.

Reporting & analytics
• Build dashboards and historical reports that highlight mixing-process efficiency, long-term sensor-data trends and detailed downtime analysis. These reports must be accessible directly from WinCC and exportable to common formats (PDF, CSV).
• All calculations should run in real time so operators can compare current batch performance against historical baselines.

Alarm management
• Configure a full alarm hierarchy with priorities, acknowledgements and timestamps.
• Alarms must be routed through the native Simatic WinCC notification system; if you prefer to add email, SMS or push later that is fine, but built-in WinCC messaging is my chosen channel for now.
• Provide clear alarm analytics (top recurring faults, average reaction time, etc.).

Remote control
• Enable authenticated remote access so I can start, stop or adjust the mixer from an engineering station or tablet without compromising safety interlocks. WebNavigator or a comparable WinCC add-on is acceptable as long as you document the security settings.

Deliverables
1. Updated TIA Portal / WinCC project files with all new features fully integrated.
2. Step-by-step deployment notes and a short operator guide.
3. A simulation or Factory IO session that demonstrates the new functionality under typical fault and production scenarios.

Acceptance will be based on a live screen-share test where we:
• Generate a batch report showing efficiency, sensor trends and downtime.
• Trigger sample alarms and receive them through WinCC notifications.
• Operate the mixer remotely while local safety logic remains intact.

If you are comfortable working with Siemens PLCs, TIA Portal and WinCC Professional, let’s discuss the timeline and kick this off.
