WooCommerce Dynamic Image Swap Script

I'm in need of a proficient developer with strong experience in WooCommerce and scripting. The targeted task is to deliver an automated script that dynamically changes the main product image on my eCommerce site when a variant is chosen by a customer.
The script must behave as follows:
- Authenticate that each variant of a product has a separate main image.
- Apply the first associated image to the selected variation automatically
- Revert to using the default product image for variations lacking their own images.
