Formio.js ECharts Integration - 24/10/2024 14:25 EDT

Job ID: 38720629

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I'm looking for a skilled developer to create a Formio.js v5 custom component that integrates with Apache ECharts v5. The component should enable rendering of Bar, Line, and Pie charts within the Formio.js framework. Please refer to this document (https://help.form.io/developers/form-development/custom-components) for a description of Formio.js components. This is NOT a project to build forms.

Key Features:
• All ECharts attributes must be configurable from the Form builder settings dialog. This includes (but is not limited to) chart style and appearance, chart title and axis labels, as well as data filtering and transformation options.
• The chart dataset can originate from any compatible Formio.js data source. This includes (but is not limited to) form fields, external APIs, and custom JavaScript functions.
• The charts should have the capability for optional dynamic updates. These updates can occur when there are changes to the form or when specific form fields change. Dynamic updates will utilize the ECharts setOption method on the existing chart, avoiding a complete redraw.
• Must be able to work with all Formio.js templates (Bootstrap 5, Bootstrap 4, Semantic UI, US Web Design System, and UK Graphic Design System).

I envision future projects expanding this to support additional ECharts chart types. But THIS project is for Bar charts, Line charts, and Pie charts ONLY.

Ideal Skills:
• Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly with Formio.js component development and Apache ECharts.
• Experience working with Formio.js data sources.
• Ability to implement dynamic updates in chart rendering.

Please provide examples of similar projects you have completed in your proposal.

Please note the following Bid requirements:

I have wasted a considerable amount of time interviewing people who place low-ball bids to get attention even though they have no intention of delivering the project for their bid amount. I do not and WILL NOT play this bait-and-switch game. I have gone to great lengths to describe this project in as much detail as possible. Please read the attached Project Requirements document and then place a bid for how much you will do the proposed project for. I do understand that project requirements may change. In my opinion, this is a valid reason for renegotiating. Once you have read the project requirements, please add the phrase "Soli Deo Gloria" to the top of your bid to indicate that you have read the attached requirements and are placing a bid to deliver the project based on those requirements.

I'm, sorry to be so demanding on this. I want REAL proposals to consider so I don't waste any more of my time or YOUR time on fake proposals. Thanks for understanding.
