Supply Chain Airtable Setup

Job ID: 40160302

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a brand-new Airtable base built from the ground up to run our entire supply-chain flow—purchase orders, inbound shipments, inventory on hand, and final order tracking. The structure has to feel intuitive for a team of roughly 2–10 users who will dip in and out daily, so well-designed tables, linked records, and role-based views are essential.

Here’s what I have in mind:

• Core architecture: connected tables for suppliers, POs, SKU-level inventory, and customer orders, with lookup and roll-up fields that surface stock levels and fulfilment statuses in real time.
• Automations: email or Slack alerts for low stock, overdue POs, and order-shipped notifications; if a native automation won’t cover it, a lightweight script in the Airtable Scripting block is fine.
• Dashboards & views: kanban or calendar views for shipment stages, plus summary widgets so leadership can see open PO value, days-on-hand, and order backlog at a glance.
• Permissions: editor access for operations, read-only for finance, and locked fields for formulas to keep the data clean.
• Handoff: a short Loom walkthrough or live call that explains tables, typical workflows, and how to add new SKUs or suppliers.

Everything must run inside Airtable—no external plugins required—so the end result stays simple for the team to maintain. If a small helper script or two is needed, please include the code and clear comments.

Once the base is live and tested with sample data, we’ll run through a quick Q&A to confirm we can generate POs, update inventory, and see order status without touching the underlying formulas.
