Project Title:
Resource Utilization Dashboard Build (Excel → Dashboard Tool)

Project Overview:
I am looking for an experienced data/dashboard specialist to transform an existing Excel-based resource allocation file into a clean, user-friendly resource utilization dashboard.

The goal is to create a professional, client-ready dashboard that clearly shows team capacity, utilization, and allocation across projects.

Current State:

* Excel file with multiple tabs (resource allocation data)
* Data includes resources, projects, hours, and timelines
* Structure is mostly complete but not optimized for reporting

Scope of Work:
The selected freelancer will:

1. Review & Optimize Data
* Clean and normalize data where needed
* Ensure structure supports dashboard reporting
2. Build Resource Utilization Dashboard
* Overall utilization % (by person and team)
* Allocated vs available capacity
* Over/under-utilized resources
* Resource allocation by project
* Time-based view (weekly/monthly)
3. Create Visual Dashboard
* Clean, modern, executive-level design
* Filters (by team, project, timeframe)
* Easy to interpret (non-technical stakeholders)
4. Tool Flexibility (open to recommendations):
* Microsoft Power BI (preferred)
* Excel Dashboard (advanced)
* Airtable / Monday.com (if strong use case)
5. Documentation / Handoff
* Brief explanation of how to update data
* Dashboard should be easy to maintain

Deliverables:

* Final dashboard (in agreed tool)
* Cleaned/structured dataset
* Instructions for ongoing use

Ideal Candidate:

* Strong experience in resource planning dashboards
* Proficient in Power BI, Excel, or similar tools
* Can translate messy data into clear insights
* Has examples of similar dashboards (please include)

Timeline:

* Target turnaround: 3–7 days
