Interactive NYU Course Planner
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a single workspace—whether in Airtable, Notion, Coda, or another equivalent tool—that acts like a lightweight relational database so I can map out my NYU courses with almost no manual data entry. The core of the build is a table-view interface that lets me:
• Plan every course I’m considering
• Slot each one into Summer Session, Fall Semester, J-Term, and Spring Semester blocks
• See at a glance how those choices line up in a full class-scheduling context (think prerequisites, credit totals, time conflicts, etc.)
The two critical functions are course planning and class scheduling; grade tracking is not needed. I already have a rough Notion setup, but I want to take it further—formulas, linked records, roll-ups, the whole nine yards—so I can filter by requirement, tag by semester, and generate quick summaries.
Process
We’ll meet live on Zoom. I’ll share my screen, you’ll build, and I’ll give real-time feedback so the final structure matches exactly how I think about registration.
Deliverable
A fully functioning workspace (shared with me) that includes:
• Core tables and linked records for courses, semesters, and requirements
• Pre-configured views and filters in table format for easy course selection
• Sample data and clear instructions so I can extend it on my own
