Comprehensive Catering Management System
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I'm seeking a devoted developer to create a robust internal Airtable based system for my catering company. This system must include the following key features:
1. Inventory Management: Keep tabs on all materials and goods, ensuring nothing goes unnoticed.
2. Order Tracking: Oversee every catering order, from start to finish, right from the dashboard.
3. Employee Scheduling: Assist in organizing staff schedules and assigning tasks.
4. Shopping Lists: Dynamically generates comprehensive shopping lists from menu recipes.
5. Software Integration: Incorporate Quickbooks and Apple Notes, and generate a Web interface for easy access.
6. Menu / Recipe Translation to Detailed trackable elements > Output a user friendly menu layout for clients to see by day and service.
7. Output a weekly shopping list outlining amounts needed to be purchased, cooked and servings reference per day per service.
8. Estimate potential costs for each week's ingredient spend vs actual and tracked against Gross earnings to determine weekly margins after accounting for labor, rent and overhead costs.
9. Need to be user friendly with a front end interface and can easily translate to Spanish for daily prep & task lists.
10. Weekly Menu & Item based task lists creation with ability to assign and group personnel daily & weekly tasks.
11. Robust reporting tools for export and productivity assessment.
Our overall goal is to streamline our communication stream between each event menu to sourcing ingredients to preparation of food to outputting client facing menus w/ descriptions, ingredients and allergens. Bonus points for being able to present menus via web url for clientele.
As part of the accounting software interface with Quickbooks, I need effective expense tracking to monitor and manage the finances seamlessly.
The ideal freelancer for this project is experienced in internal system development, software integration, and demonstrates excellent attention to detail. Experience in creating systems for the catering industry would be an advantage. Efficiency and the ability to deliver on time is crucial for this project.
