Automate Digital Asset Management
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want an end-to-end n8n workflow that lets my small team add, update, and search roughly 1,000 media and document files (mp3, mp4, jpeg, doc, pdf, xls). The automation will be included in a larger automation that will aggregate information on a subject. For example, tell me everything you know about Bill in the early 1980s.The automation should:
• Ingest a file dropped into a watched folder, cloud bucket, or simple upload form.
• Push the binary to long-term storage while creating a record in a database— Resource Space or Airtable is fine, though I’m open to any stack you recommend.
• Enrich each record only with tags and a free-text description field;, would prefer to include transcripts of mp3 and mp4..
• Let us organise and filter assets by the categories/folders we assign.
• Expose simple query endpoints or an n8n front-end form so anyone on the team can locate and download a file in seconds.
Please build the scenario entirely in n8n cloud and document the nodes so I can tweak them later. I’ll count the job complete when I can:
1. Drop a sample file into the system and watch it appear in the database with its tag and description fields ready to edit.
2. Search by category or tag and retrieve a direct link to the stored binary.
If any extra tooling is needed—S3, Google Drive, Postgres, Airtable API keys—just tell me and I’ll supply credentials.
