Airtable Workflow Automation Expert Needed
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I own a growing commercial photography business with about a dozen photographers under me. My current solution for managing workflow (job status, assigning photographers, accounting for payouts) is done through Google Sheets. I'd like to explore the potential of Airtable (and possibly other platforms) as a replacement.
Objective 1
Consolidated Spreadsheet/Database.
I currently use a spreadsheet (Google Sheets) for each photographer when assigning jobs. This requires excessive data movement and tracking. If feasible, I'd like to construct a spreadsheet/database where all the data is consolidated. Access by users (photographers) will be confined to the jobs they are assigned. Ideally, a more centralized and manageable solution can be put in place for assigning, tracking, and making payments on jobs.
Objective 2
Automate the Job Creation Process as Much as Possible
We complete an average of 200 jobs per month from a few dozen sources. Some have a much higher volume than others. Almost all are delivered through spreadsheets created by our clients. The fields vary. Regardless, I hope those sheets can be synced to create jobs and reflect changes within our system. Other jobs would be entered manually, while others would be integrated through our online order form.
Objective 3
I currently use Google MyMaps for mapping jobs. I import the vast majority using .csv files and erase them manually as they are completed. I'm looking for a way to sync a map according to the information on a spreadsheet/database.
These are the main objectives. There are other ideas I'd like to entertain as well.
I'm looking for an expert to help me determine:
- if these objectives are feasible.
- Provide options, including what platform(s), if not Airtable, would be best suited to help me attain.
- Provide insight on how this will be achieved and explain limitations.
- Potentially provide services for creating a solution.
