Participate in a project to modify an existing certified VLJ to fly on carbon-free fuel.
Budget: $50 – $0 AUD
We are an engineering design organisation specialising in machines and we are located in Sydney. Our company has embarked on a project to create an experimental aircraft, built on a jet with an existing certification basis, to fly on carbon-free fuel. Phase 1 is to evaluate existing technological opportunities for achieving the outcome and to prepare a plan for action to be presented to the board at the end of phase 1. Phase 2 is the testing of any technologies requiring to be proved, the modification of an aircraft for the new system, the flight testing of the modified aircraft and the drafting of the certification plan.
We require a qualified and experienced aerospace engineer to work with our existing mechanical, structural and E&I team to plan and execute the project. Previous experience of certification of engines and/or airframes is highly desirable.
