Air Conditioning System Consultation for Marine Accommodation Barge
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are tendering to build a large accommodation/working barge to be situated north of Broome, Western Australia. We require expert advice on suitable air conditioning systems to inform our pricing and further design work.
Deliverables:
1. Identify the most suitable system type (e.g., central plant, split system, or multiple units) and any insulation recommendations.
2. Recommend system manufacturers with several options for costing purposes.
3. Provide a statement of cooling load (KW) and target compartment temperatures corresponding to the recommendations.
This is an initial assessment to assist in pricing the barge tender. If successful in winning the contract, we will proceed with a more detailed design agreement.
Timeline: Initial assessment to be completed by the end of October 2025.
