Urgent WordPress Multilingual Site Overhaul
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Subject: URGENT: WordPress Multilingual Migration - MUST BE ONLINE BY MARCH 24
Project Description:
I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer to urgently help me restructure my multilingual website setup. Currently, I have a WordPress Multisite configuration managing two separate sites:
bei-lin-da.com (main site)
bei-lin-da.it (Italian-only site)
I have encountered critical URL conflicts where posts with the same ID from different sites are showing incorrect content. I want to migrate away from the Multisite confusion and implement a clean, professional multilingual solution.
CRITICAL DEADLINE: The new site MUST be online and fully functional by March 24
What I Need:
On the main site (.com):
Install and configure Polylang (free version is acceptable)
Set up the following languages: Italian, English, Chinese (others may be added later)
Ensure clean, SEO-friendly URL structure (e.g., /en/post-name/, /zh/post-name/)
Bulk Translation of Existing Content:
The site has many existing pages and posts that need translation
Implement a bulk translation solution compatible with Polylang (e.g., PolyTranslate AI, Skylang, or similar)
All translations must be saved as separate posts/pages in the WordPress database (no "on-the-fly" translation)
The solution must preserve:
Page layout and formatting
Images and media
Custom fields and meta data
SEO meta titles and descriptions
On the Italian site (.it):
Leave it as Italian-only (no changes needed)
Ensure no conflicts remain with the main site
SEO & Technical Requirements:
Proper implementation of hreflang tags for all language versions
XML sitemaps for each language
URLs must follow the pattern: domain.com/language-code/post-slug/
No duplicate content issues
All existing posts/pages must maintain their correct content association
Testing & Verification:
Provide proof that the new structure works:
All languages are accessible via correct URLs
Language switcher works properly
Google can see and index all language versions
No more ID conflicts between the two sites
Deliverables:
Fully functional multilingual site on bei-lin-da.com
All content translated (using automatic translation as base)
Clean migration plan to eventually phase out the problematic Multisite setup
Documentation of the new structure
Skills Required:
Expert in WordPress Multisite
Expert in Polylang (or WPML if you recommend a better free alternative)
Experience with bulk translation plugins and AI translation APIs
Strong understanding of multilingual SEO (hreflang, sitemaps)
Problem-solving skills for URL conflicts
Ability to work under strict deadlines
Budget & Selection Criteria:
I will ONLY consider proposals that include ALL of the following:
Your REAL fixed price (no vague estimates or hourly ranges)
A CERTAIN DATELINE confirming you can deliver by March 24
Clear breakdown of what's included in your price
How to Apply:
Please include in your proposal:
Your experience with similar multilingual migrations
Which translation plugin/API you recommend and why
Your approach to testing and verifying the work
Your FIXED PRICE (in USD/EUR)
Your CONFIRMED COMPLETION DATE (must be March 24 or earlier)
Any potential risks you foresee and how you'd mitigate them
Additional Context:
I am open to suggestions. If you believe there's a better approach than Polylang (considering my need for free solution + bulk translation + future scalability), I am willing to listen.
IMPORTANT: Proposals without a clear fixed price and confirmed March 24 deadline will be automatically rejected.
Thank you! I look forward to receiving your serious, deadline-committed proposals.
