Starting a series of RPA projects

I have several manual tasks using different software (Desktop or Web based version) + Excel. About 20 routine tasks that I currently have and need to automate them.
I would like to hire a freelancer who is competent and can deliver high quality RPA at fixed price per task.
I will start with one simple task then will add the rest thereafter.
The task is Monitor a Certain Message that will pop out during a specific working hours on a certain software that I use, if appeared we take one immediate action. That's all.
If you could do that project, please bid on the project and also let me know what platform would you like to use? I already shortlisted 2 vendors but like to hear your thoughts about the software requirements as part of the screening.
