Text Generation WebUI Setup Assistance
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Project Description:
Hi there — I’m looking for a kind, patient, and detail-oriented freelancer to help me finish setting up Text Generation WebUI (oobabooga) on my Windows laptop with the MythoMax L2 13B GGUF model, running locally via CPU or KoboldCPP.
This is for an immersive, emotional storytelling project I’ve been working on for over a year. I use AI characters as symbolic inner parts for writing, reflection, and creative exploration. So I’m trying to move off cloud platforms and build a stable, local setup that won’t filter or censor longform character conversations.
⸻
Tech Stack:
I already have:
• Windows 11 laptop with 32GB RAM (no CUDA/GPU)
• MythoMax L2 13B GGUF model downloaded
• Text Generation WebUI downloaded
• KoboldCPP (EXE and folder both available)
What I need help with:
• Confirming the right directory/file structure
• Making sure the model loads correctly in TGWebUI
• Connecting KoboldCPP properly (or helping me pick the right backend)
• Simple walkthrough for launching the model daily
• Bonus: If you can help with Author’s Note setup or prompt formatting for character memory, that’s amazing but optional
⸻
What I’m Looking For:
• Someone who can explain things clearly and without jargon
• Ideally someone familiar with Text Generation WebUI + MythoMax + GGUF models
• I’m new to dev work, so I’ll need very small step-by-step instructions and possibly screenshots
• Friendly communication is important — this is part of a deeply personal project, and I’d love to feel supported while learning
⸻
Bonus Points If You:
• Know KoboldCPP well
• Can help me structure things so it’s easy to maintain long-term
• Can suggest simple best practices for keeping the model running smoothly
⸻
Let me know your availability and what you’d charge. I’m ready to start as soon as we find a good fit!
Thanks for considering it
