Project Title:
AI-Based Restoration and Enhancement of Vintage Workshop Manual (1080 Pages)

Project Description:

I am looking for an experienced developer or AI/image-processing specialist to restore and enhance a vintage Ford Transit workshop manual consisting of approximately 1080 scanned pages.

The goal is to create a clean, high-quality, searchable digital archive while preserving all original technical information exactly.

Scope of Work:

* Process approximately 1080 scanned manual pages
* Remove stains, yellowing, scratches, shadows, fold marks, and binder holes
* Improve readability and contrast
* Make paper background clean white where possible
* Preserve all text, numbers, diagrams, tables, and technical drawings accurately
* Avoid AI hallucinations or modification of technical details
* Straighten/crop pages if necessary
* Maintain original layout and formatting
* Export final result as:
* cleaned PNG/TIFF files and/or
* high-quality searchable PDF with OCR

Technical Requirements:

Preferred workflow includes:

* OpenAI Batch API / AI image restoration
* OpenCV
* OCR pipelines
* ScanTailor Advanced
* Python automation
* Batch processing system

Important:
This is NOT a creative redesign project.
Technical accuracy is critical.
The restoration should be conservative and archive-quality.

Deliverables:

* Fully processed 1080-page manual
* Organized output files
* Searchable OCR PDF
* Optional: source scripts/pipeline used for processing
