Recover Plaque Text Photo

I have a single JPEG of a historical plaque whose inscription is now unreadable because the image was captured at too low a resolution. I only need the wording for my own records, so even a partial restoration that lets the majority of characters become legible is fine.

I will send you the original file; please apply whatever combination of AI up-scaling, deconvolution, or other forensic enhancement techniques you prefer. When you’re done, I’d like:

• an enhanced version of the image in the highest quality you can export, and
• a plain-text transcription of any words you manage to reveal.

Please keep any processing steps non-destructive so I can see the difference if I need to. Feel free to ask for a crop or additional reference shots if that will help the reconstruction.
