AI Mockup Generator Integration

I’m upgrading my e-commerce site so visitors can create their own product visuals on-the-fly. The new AI module should let a shopper upload or type their artwork, see instant mock-ups across multiple gift items—mugs, T-shirts, tote bags, bottles and any other common merchandise we add—and then download a high-resolution print-ready file that goes straight to our fulfillment queue.
Here’s what I need you to build and connect:
• An on-page interface that calls an AI model (stable APIs such as OpenAI’s image tools, Stable Diffusion, or a comparable engine) to layer user artwork onto each product.
• Realistic 3-D or high-fidelity 2-D previews that update in real time as the customer edits colours, placement or text.
• Automatic generation of production-spec files: 300 dpi PNG or PDF, CMYK where required, sized precisely for each SKU.
• Seamless integration with our existing checkout and order-management flow (PHP/Laravel back-end and a React front-end).
• Admin controls to set template sizes, safe zones and bleed, plus a simple way to add new gift items later.
Acceptance criteria
1. A customer can go from artwork upload to finished mock-up in under 10 seconds on a standard desktop connection.
2. Generated print files pass our current supplier’s pre-flight check with no manual fixes.
3. Code is delivered as a clean, documented Git repo and deployed to our staging server for final verification.
