MS Teams App Publishing Expert Needed – Package, Deploy & Publish HR App to Teams Store.
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
We’re looking for an experienced Microsoft Teams app publishing specialist to take our existing Teams app and successfully publish it to the Microsoft Teams Store.
The app is already developed and working. It includes:
Tabs
Bot
Messaging extensions
Notifications
Your role will focus on the end‑to‑end publishing process, not building the app from scratch.
Key responsibilities:
Review our existing Teams app (tabs, bot, messaging extensions, notifications) and current configuration
Package the app correctly (manifest, icons, app package) for submission
Set up and configure any required Azure resources and permissions for production
Ensure compliance with Microsoft’s validation and security guidelines for Teams apps
Guide us through or help complete Publisher Verification / Attestation steps as needed
Submit the app to the Microsoft Teams Store and handle any feedback from the validation team until approval
Provide clear documentation and a brief handover so we can manage future updates
Requirements:
Proven experience publishing apps to the Microsoft Teams Store (not just internal/tenant apps)
Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Teams app registration
Familiarity with Microsoft’s Store validation, security, and compliance requirements
Ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly to validation feedback
Good communication skills and ability to work independently
Nice to have:
Experience publishing apps to other Microsoft marketplaces (AppSource, Azure Marketplace)
Prior work with HR or SaaS products is a plus
