I have a draft HVAC/BMS integration specification that must plug seamlessly into an AI-driven optimisation platform using BACnet/IP. Before we circulate it to our contractors, I need a senior BMS / HVAC controls engineer to perform a sharp technical review focused on one thing: confirming that every data point, command and alarm defined in the spec will actually play well with the optimisation layer.

The document covers chillers, VAVs, FCUs and, most critically, the AHUs, so your comments on these sections will carry extra weight. I’m looking for gaps in point lists, naming conventions, network architecture or sequencing that could block or degrade real-time data flow to the platform.

Required background
– 5+ years in BMS / HVAC controls engineering for commercial or mixed-use buildings.
– Hands-on experience with BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP, including integration of chillers, AHUs, VAVs and FCUs into platforms such as Siemens Desigo, JCI Metasys, Honeywell, Schneider EcoStruxure or Tridium Niagara.
– Prior experience reviewing or writing controls specifications, ideally where a BMS was integrated with a third-party analytics or optimisation platform via BACnet or Modbus.
