Redact Coder Needed to Update and Fix AI-Generated Code
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m looking for an experienced coder to review, clean up, and fix issues in AI‑generated code for an interactive career pathways tool. The current version was generated with an AI assistant and is partially working, but it needs a developer to make it production‑ready.
The scope includes:
Reviewing existing AI‑generated code and understanding the intended functionality
Fixing logic and display errors highlighted in a separate “Errors” document
Ensuring the interactive pathways flow correctly across multiple departments and roles
Making sure links, navigation, and conditional logic behave as expected
Cleaning up the codebase for readability and maintainability
Suggesting small improvements where they are low‑effort but high‑impact
You should be comfortable working from:
A written specification / Google Doc that explains the tool and flows
A PDF listing known errors and issues to fix
Existing AI‑generated code (you’ll be refactoring and correcting rather than building from scratch)
Please share:
Similar projects where you’ve fixed or refactored AI‑generated or legacy code
Your main tech stack and which framework(s) you are most comfortable with for interactive web tools
A brief note on how you typically approach debugging and cleaning up someone else’s code
This is an ongoing collaboration opportunity: if this goes well, there may be follow‑on work to extend and enhance the tool.
