Project Overview
SoftAge AI is recruiting participants for Project ROBO 2, an AI data collection initiative focused on capturing first-person point-of-view (egocentric) videos in home environments.
The collected data will support the development of Robotics AI, Embodied AI, Human Action Understanding, and Multimodal AI systems.
 
Compensation
* $7-$25 per hour of approved recording
 
Supported Devices
Participants must use one of the following devices:
* iPhone 11 or newer
* Google Pixel 6 or newer
* Samsung Galaxy S21+ models only
 
Recording Requirements
* The phone must be securely mounted on the forehead using a head strap.
* Recordings must be captured from a first-person POV (egocentric perspective).
* The camera angle should be approximately 45° downward.
* Hands must remain visible throughout the activity.
* Toes should be visible while standing still.
* Each recording session must be a minimum of 2 minutes.
* Activities should be performed naturally and realistically.
* Only standing or walking activities are permitted; seated recordings are not allowed.
 
Example Activities
Participants may record household activities such as:
* Laundry and clothing organization
* Kitchen cleaning (non-cooking tasks)
* Home and room cleaning
* Bathroom cleaning
* Plant care
* Pet care
* Closet or storage organization
* Garage or household organization tasks
 
Participant Workflow
1. Download the Minute Data application:

1. Create an account.
2. Join using the mandatory organization code: 8899NSJD
3. Complete a short test recording to verify camera angle and visibility requirements.
4. Begin recording eligible household activities.
5. Uploads are processed automatically through the application.
 
Quality Review and Rejection Criteria
Recordings may be rejected for the following reasons:
* Poor lighting or unstable footage
* Incorrect camera angle
* Hands not visible during activities
* Seated recordings
* Staged, inactive, or non-natural footage
* Recordings shorter than 2 minutes
* Obstructed camera view
* Inappropriate content
 
Important Note
Participants are required to follow all recording guidelines carefully to ensure the successful approval of submitted recordings.
