AI Dashcam Schematic Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m putting together an automotive-grade dashcam that runs on an AI SoC and would like a complete hardware schematic as the next step. The core board has to handle two on-board 1080 p digital cameras via MIPI-CSI while also accepting two additional analog cameras through an external A/D bridge so the system can switch seamlessly between all four views.
The SoC must be wired to support real-time object detection, lane detection, collision warning, and driver monitoring / assistance functions; please route all required high-speed, power-management, and memory interfaces accordingly. I already have a rough block diagram, so the focus here is turning that concept into production-ready circuitry with a clean, logically layered design that will pass an automotive EMC review.
Deliverables
• Full schematic (PDF + editable CAD) covering power, clocks, camera inputs, DDR, storage, CAN/LIN, GPS, Wi-Fi/BT, and debug headers
• Accompanying bill of materials with part numbers, grades, and key electrical characteristics
• Brief design note explaining signal integrity decisions, power budget, and thermal considerations
I’ll review the schematic for component availability, AI feature coverage, and adherence to the 1080 p camera requirement before releasing final approval.
