Create a PDF Tutorial: Helix Robot + VLA Model in NVIDIA Isaac Sim

Job ID: 39543793

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

Objective:
Create a beginner-friendly PDF tutorial for simulating a Helix robot that folds clothes using a Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model in NVIDIA Isaac Sim.

Description:
We are seeking a technical expert in robotics simulation and documentation to develop a clear, step-by-step guide for using Isaac Sim to simulate a cloth-folding Helix robot powered by a VLA model (e.g. OpenVLA). The guide will be used by students and researchers, so it should be concise, visual, and easy to follow.

Deliverables:
- A well-formatted PDF guide (~10–20 pages, flexible based on content depth)
- All required code snippets, or links to repos

Requirements:
- GUI: Every interaction with the graphical interface must be described using menu path notation (e.g. File → Import → URDF) or illustrated with a screenshot.
- Commands: Include all command-line instructions, specifying the correct terminal environment and working directory.
- Code: Provide all necessary code snippets or link to exact relevant repositories or files.
- External References: You may reference other guides or tutorials to reduce workload, but each reference must be specific and directly linked.
- Splitting: You may split sections of the guide into separate, clearly labeled PDF files if this improves manageability or readability. The main PDF should reference these supplementary documents where appropriate (e.g. “See Appendix A: Configuring MoveIt for the Helix Robot”).
- Writing Style: Clear, didactic writing aimed at readers with no prior knowledge of Isaac sim, ROS, or VLA models.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Isaac Sim and robotics simulation
- Familiarity with Vision-Language-Action models (e.g. OpenVLA)
- Ability to produce clear, technically accurate documentation
- Bonus: Experience simulating deformable objects such as cloth

Budget:
Open to proposals. Please include your estimated time, cost, and any relevant portfolio examples.

To Apply:
Submit a brief proposal that includes:
- Your experience with Isaac Sim and VLA models
- Examples of past work (e.g. guides, simulations, technical tutorials)
- Your estimated timeline and cost for completing the project
- Optional: Whether you can test the simulation locally in Isaac Sim
