Automated Product Packaging System

The proposed project aims to automate packaging planning for the manufacturing industry. The manufacturing industry is facing challenges due to the trend of mass customization and dynamics of product life-cycles, which has led to an increase in the variety of individual parts, sub-assemblies, and product components. To address these challenges, an integrated supply chain network has been developed, but this has increased the complexity of logistics and packaging planning. The project proposes to use machine learning (ML) algorithms to optimize the packaging planning process. The project will use supervised ML, which requires a set of labels to classify or regress the labels using algorithms. The goal is to formulate a packaging planning problem using supervised ML and develop a solution to automate the process, reducing the effort and complexity of packaging planning.We need a detailed project report including all the software engineering diagrams and proper functioning code for the same and we need the code which will detect the system through web cam and then recommend which type of packaging should be used .
