I’m ready to move our freight-forwarding operation from scattered manual desks to a single, autonomous platform that puts customers, pricing, operations, and billing on autopilot. The scope is broad, so I’m looking for an engineer who can own architecture, AI design, and systems integration end-to-end.
Core vision
• AI-Driven, client-facing front end that generates multimodal freight quotes in real time and automatically layers in our fixed commission structure.
• An Intelligent Document Processing module able to handle the full cycle of document sorting & classification, data extraction & validation, document approval workflows, and any other required paperwork that shows up in daily operations. For launch it must successfully process shipping manifests, customs declarations, and pricing sheets without human touch.
• Secure API links to customs and compliance services so clearance data flows both ways instantly.
• A digital wallet that supports deposits, holds, and payouts, tying directly into the automated billing loop you’ll design.
• Closed-loop billing: once a shipment is priced, booked, and serviced, invoices should generate and reconcile automatically.
Architecture & tech freedom
Bring whatever blend of LLMs, computer vision, microservices, and event-driven design you believe will scale. I value clean documentation and test coverage so future feature branches are painless.
Deliverables (milestone-based)
1. High-level solution design with data flow diagrams
2. Clickable client front end with live pricing engine
3. IDP pipeline that passes accuracy benchmarks on the three document types above
4. Integrated customs/compliance APIs proved in a staging environment
5. Digital wallet + automated invoice generation demoed in sandbox
6. Deployment scripts and hand-off documentation
Acceptance criteria will revolve around latency for quote generation, >95 % extraction accuracy on manifests/ declarations / pricing sheets, zero-touch invoice creation, and a fully containerised deployment that passes my end-to-end tests.
